When to refer a client to Patient Review & Coordination (PRC) for review:

Refer if client:

• Uses multiple pharmacies to fill prescriptions

• Obtains prescriptions from many different providers

• Frequently uses the emergency room visits for non-emergent care

• Exhibits drug seeking behavior, or

• Sees multiple providers for the same condition.

Who can refer a client for PRC review:

Referrals are accepted from private and public entities such as:

• Providers

• CSO office workers or other state or federal agency

• General population
